Job Purpose:
To grow Euroleague Basketball's base of registered fans and subscribers by driving efficient, scalable acquisition across all digital channels, with a focus on long-term value rather than volume alone.
Role Summary:
Part of the Digital Growth area, the Acquisition Manager owns the acquisition mix for Euroleague Basketball's digital products (website, app, EuroLeague TV and Fantasy). The role plans full-funnel campaigns (awareness, consideration and performance) and optimises Paid, Social, Organic, Direct, SEO, GEO, ASO and Affiliate channels, manages the acquisition budget and agencies, and works closely with Product, Data, Content and Commercial teams to turn a global audience into known, engaged users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquisition strategy: define and execute the annual and seasonal acquisition plan, aligned with the competition calendar (Regular Season, Playoffs, Final Four) and business goals.
- Full-funnel campaigns: plan and run integrated campaigns across awareness, consideration and performance stages, with clear objectives and KPIs for each.
- Paid Media: plan, launch and optimise campaigns on Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, YouTube and programmatic to drive registrations, app installs and EuroLeague TV subscriptions.
- Social: turn the reach of official social channels into sign-ups through paid amplification, lead ads and creator activations.
- Organic and Direct: with Content and Product, maximise conversion of organic and direct traffic through landing pages, web-to-app journeys and owned acquisition assets.
- SEO, ASO and GEO: lead content and multilingual SEO, and grow visibility in AI-driven search (Google AI, ChatGPT, Claude, among others).
- ASO: manage App Store and Google Play optimisation (metadata, keywords, creatives, ratings) to grow organic app installs.
- Affiliates and Partnerships: develop affiliate and co-marketing programmes with clubs, broadcasters, sponsors and media partners.
- Budget and performance: manage the acquisition budget and reallocate spend across channels based on CAC, ROAS and LTV.
- Measurement and testing: work with Data to define attribution, tracking and dashboards; plan A/B and incrementality tests across creatives, audiences and sign-up flows.
- Stakeholder management: coordinate internal teams, agencies and vendors, and report weekly and monthly results with clear recommendations.
